November 12th: Our experiment is the marshmallow effect. Instead of marshmallows, we are using cookies (because teenagers are being experimented), to demonstrate the temptation that will occur when being told they cannot eat the object. Within the past 3 days, Charlotte and I have been completing the student handouts. We still have the 13th and 15th to do.

November 13th: We finished all of the handouts that were due, but mainly focused on the 13th. We found different psych studies of our experiment with different objects.
November 14th: We finished 16 and 17 today and started working on the 18th, 19th, and 20th. These will help us organize our experiment and make sure we have all the objects needed.

(17 was a survey and 20 was the materials list)
November 15th: We are working on the rough draft today for the essay. Other than the rough draft, we are caught up on all of the handouts and are ready to start creating our poster board tomorrow.
SH 18
November 16th: We started our poster board.
November 19th: The rough draft is completed. We planned out all the items we needed and who will bring what. However, we did not continue working on our poster board.
November 20th: I was not there to complete this, but Charlotte made the sheet that we will put our data on for the psych fair.
Survey
November 27th: Our poster board has been finished. We will go set up our poster board after school and bring the items we need along with it.
November 28th: Today is the psych fair. We have gotten 90 people so far, and are trying to aim for around 200. Many people wait for the reward after the minute and 30 seconds, but some are tempted and eat the cookie half way through or right at the start.
At the end of the day, we finished off with 137 testers. Not everyone was hungry or liked Oreos, so we did not reach our goal.
November 29th: We worked on our Psychology Fair responses/statistics.
Stats
November 30th: We finished our statistics and will begin to work on our final draft on Monday.

Could you give us a little history on what the marshmallow effect is? What are student handouts 13-15?
