Backwards mirror

Backwards Mirror Experiment- Group 30

Motor learning and time of performance

Day 1- Today  we research more on our topic.  Our project is the backwards mirror experiment. This experiment tests for speed and accuracy, it involves the mechanisms of motor learning. Motor learning is a complex process that the brain responses to a experience that results in changes in central nervous system that produces a new motor skill.

Day 2-  Today we finished all our handouts that were due today. Then we started working on handouts 15-18. We figured out all of our variables for our experiment. More ideas for our experiment were thought of. As soon as we finish 15-18 we can begin our official experiment!

Day 3- Today we figured out what materials we will need for our experiment. We need a mirror, box and a small maze.

Day 4- We finished working on student handouts #18-20.  We figured out what materia ls we will
need for our booth and what to name our table. SH #20 is our rough draft, which we finished writing
and editing today.

Day 5- So far we have finished all of our student handouts. Now, we are working on our poster board and our booth activities. We gathered information and pictures that we need to include on our poster.
The fair is close!

Day 6- One more week till the fair! Today we finished writing everything out for our poster. We also figured out how to do our maze for our expirement. Then we will be all ready for our fair.

Day 7- Today we finished everything for our fair. Over Thanksgiving Break, we finished our poster board. Tonight is the parent night for the fair!

Day of- The fair was long but fun. Our hypothesis was correct. It took every participant a longer time to perform the maze with the mirror.
